This year, in-cosmetics Global set a new all-time record, with the unveiling of more than 230 groundbreaking ingredients in its Innovation Zone. Pioneering technologies from companies across the globe were showcased, offering a glimpse into the future of beauty and personal care.
Global Cosmetic Industry and Cosmetics & Toiletries partnered to deliver a concise analysis of emerging trends in ingredients and claims, along with actionable insights to inspire marketers and product developers in shaping their innovation strategies. A total of 20 ingredients were selected to be featured into the report.
We are extremely proud of Alpicare DBS being among them, thanks to its perfect fit into the trend “Hybrid Invisibility: SPF & Color”.
According to the authors of the report:
"Sun protection and complexion products are converging around a new, “invisible” standard, where high-transparency mineral filters and weightless, skin-fusing textures integrate effortlessly into daily routines."
Alpicare DBS stands out as a texture-first SPF enabler, transforming traditionally heavy sun care systems into sensorially elegant, visually seamless formulations. Effective both with crystalline organic filters and mineral actives like TiO₂ and ZnO, powders or pigments, it creates a more uniform film on skin. Translating into enhanced transparency and a noticeable reduction in chalkiness, even in high-SPF or mineral-rich formulas, the result is a light and silky finish, which glides easily onto the skin.
"With hundreds of innovations competing for attention, standing out in the Innovation Zone proves to be very challenging. I’m incredibly proud that Alpicare DBS was recognised and highlighted by two leading personal care magazines in this insightful report."
